Ingrid fell victim to a financial adviser whose advice led to the detriment of her future retirement fund. Through the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), she made a complaint about the financial misconduct. It was ruled in her favour, and she was due to be compensated by the firm for her loss. However, when the company in question went into liquidation, she had nowhere to go for financial redress. With the help of the CSLR, she is now able to claim back her rightful funds.
